FAQs
What's the difference between tarot cards and oracle cards?
While both types of decks can be used for guidance or insight on nearly any given situation, a Tarot deck is made up 78 cards each with very specific meanings that takes time to study, learn, and eventually master (I'm always learning). Oracle cards are like the sugared-up little sister of tarot. Each Oracle deck makes and follows its own rules. Since meanings may even be printed directly on the cards, oracle card interpretations are looser, a bit more literal, and very open to interpretation.
How does a tarot reading work?
Most Tarot and Oracle readings are "offline" which means you do not need to provide any questions in advance. I set my intention for the cards in your chosen deck to tell me the message(s) they have for you. After booking, I record myself conducting your reading in my home office.
The unedited video recording is then sent to your email via a private YouTube link.
Do you research clients ahead of time?
No. I do not research anyone or anything ahead of time because that sounds like extra work.
Can I send my friend a reading from the Dork Witch?
It is against tarot ethics to read for someone without their request. So NO. All readings are focused on the purchaser, only. ASK ABOUT A DORK WITCH GIFT CARD INSTEAD!
